Nadia Lee Cohen: 100 Naked Women

I would describe her work as a movie still from Mars Attacks, mixed with what I would imagine the American Dream is from countless rewatching of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and far from boring. 24 year old Londoner Nadia Lee Cohen's photography and films resembles that of a combination of American and British culture in the 50s, 60s and 70s and the photo's always captivate you with their colour. A Del-Boy inspired photo series published in July last year might explain what I'm trying to say a bit more. And not to mention, I have never seen a woman hold a cigarette more fabulously then herself.

Check out her latest ongoing photo series project, 100 Naked Women. Inspired by the Free the Nipple campaign, Cohen's striking, bold non-models are ultimately portraying characters, and the influence of cinema is constant. She hopes to confront the unrealistic portrayal of the female body in the fashion industry, and when finished, these images will all be published in presumably, a pretty amazing book. Follow her on Instagram, it's totally worth it to see those few seconds of colour as you scroll down your newsfeed. Hypnotizing.
